December In a nutshell

Merry Christmas!!
Our 3 joys!
William's class at their performance
Ryan and I prepping the gingerbread houses
Annabel LOVED creating her own house
Coleson hanging out Ta Da

A trip to Bass Pro Shop

Not the best picture AND no one is crying. Is it bad that I was bummed that there were no tears? I always think the tears are classic.

And we are off to California

quick layover so we ran the ramps to get the wiggles out
BEAUTIFUL day at Moss LandingColeson's first trip to the beachWe were SO happy to be at the beachrunning from the wavesChristmas MorningThis will keep her busyAnd William busyUncle Brian, Caelyn and Coleson
So happy to be in California with familyCrazy CousinsUncle Ryan keeping the kids busyYummy dinner time
and cookie decoratingAnd the adults playing with their new ipads
The cousins put on a play for the adults- the story of Jesus. Can I say HILARIOUS from their perspective?!Uncle D

A quick trip to Truckee- we were disappointed with lack of snow. BUT, we still had a blast: we made mini snowmen, had snow ball fights, skied and had lots of fun with cousins.

Tahoe Donner Ski Resort was lacking snow and only offering lessons for kids. William was so bummed. But was thrilled to ride the chair lift and hike down. He loved riding the chairlift and finding patches of snow to play in.
Family hike

Cousins- we love watching these cousins play together. They love each other and have so much fun playing. We missed Beka and Kira. We can't wait to play this summer.

William Skiing

William has been looking forward to skiing ever since we moved to Texas. This year we told him we would try. Our first attempt was a FAIL. With the lack of snow it made it difficult to find a resort for William AND Ryan to ski.
Annabel was prefectly content hanging out in the lodge sipping hot coco and playing games.
This smile was worn ALL day!
Proud Daddy
William was so proud of himself! He had a ball and can't wait to go again. Hopefully, his next time he will see more snow and continue to love it!
