Valentine's

Making William's Valentines for friends!
I really wanted William to make his Valentine's this year. It is difficult to convince a 3 year old to write, so I thought making treats was a great idea. I gave him a few suggestions and he wanted to make chocolate covered pretzels and fortune cookies. William LOVES helping in the kitchen. I offered him color suggestions and he wanted to make red and white. He had a blast dipping the cookies and pretzels in chocolate. He even licked his fingers at the END!
These are so easy and tasty!

You need:
fortune cookies
candy melts (variety of colors)
wax paper
eager helper(s)Cookies are ready to be dipped

I think my friends are really going to like these! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!
Our playgroup party. We have been apart of a WONDERFUL playgroup since William was days old. We met at the "New Mom's Support Group" at the hospital and have made lasting friendships. We meet every Thursday. There are 9 mommies, 9 toddlers and 7 babies. It is rare that we all make it on a given week, but regardless of the number it is total organized chaos! We each take turns hosting/planning the activity. Miss Sheri planned our Valentine's party at The Grand Sierra Kid Zone. We enjoyed for pizza lunch, cake and Valentine's and then ventured into the play zone for fun. Thursday's I can always count on great naps for the kids. They are tuckered when we get home.

Sledding

Thrilling Thursday with Playgroup friends
With the recent snow our friends Miss Andrea, Tate and Dane invited us to
their home in Incline for some sledding. Their backyard has an awesome sledding
hill (aka golf course).

12 Happy little ones! hahaWilliam walking up the hill for a sled ride. His first run down he crashed and
burned so he was done!
Annabel is NOT a fan of the cold!

Fort Building with Grammy

Grammy came to play for the day so I convinced her to make a fort with me. Who knew all the fun one can have with a large box.
This box could be:
* a fort
* a hide out
* Noah's Arc
* a spaceship
* a bed
* Starbucks "May I take your order?"
*so much more
I am the director and telling her where to make the windows.

"You are doing well Grammy"
Where is William??
Annabel will find him.

I found him!

Hand Prints

Since Annabel is ONE, I wanted to document her hand and foot print.
When William was one I had his done as well. Mary Potter,
with Little Pumpkin Potter does a fantsctic job making
wonderful keepsakes out of pottery.
Annabel making her handprint on the clay.
She was not into the cold damp clay- such a girlie girl!
