Playdate

We had our good friends Janai, Preston and Lola over to play after being cooped up for a couple of days due to snow. It was so nice to play, relax and have adult contact.

A Visit with Santa

Dear Santa,

I have been a good boy this year. I am a great big brother and help my Mommy and Daddy around the house. This year I would like a red car, a dinosaur book and Thomas tracks. My sister, Annabel has also been a good girl. She is just a baby so she can't talk. She would like a truck (so she does not play with mine), a doll and a toy that she can push. Don't forget we will be staying at my Grammy and Pappa's house in California. I will leave you some yummy cookies and milk and carrots for the reindeer.

Love,

William

Today we headed out to the mall to see Santa.

I did a little bribing with William so I was sure to get at least one child smiling. Amazing what the kid will do for a M&M.

Annabel not sure what to think. She is such a Mamma's girl!

Merry Christmas!

Gingerbread Houses

Gingerbread Houses in the making

Our Good friends, Dani and Averi hosted a Gingerbread house decorating party. Dani was brave to host 6 toddler, 6 mommies and 6 babies to this event.

The supplies- houses pieces, frosting, and candy

The walls and roof are up. Time to break for pizza lunch so the "glue" can dry.

William is so proud of his house. He placed the candy himself. I think he did a fantastic job!

The proud kids and their houses!
Thanks Dani and Averi for a FUN FILLED morning.

The Gang!

Came home and Ryan had the flowers delivered to me. Yellow roses- my favorite!

A Day with the Cousins

A Day with the Cousins

William and Timothy were thrilled to play together

Playing on the hill.

We have been curious to see just how long it would take before the boys started climbing the hillside.

SNOW

First (real) Snowfall
It was snowing when the kids woke up from their naps. William was SO excited. He could not wait to romp around in the snow. We bundled up and headed outside.

The driveway needed (not really) to be shoveled

Almost done

Annabel all bundled up and watching
We came inside to warm up with a mug of hot coco
YUMMY!
**William is NOT into posing for pictures these days so this is the best I could get**

Fire Station

Field Trip
Today William's preschool took a trip to a local fire station. It is on the larger ones in Reno which means it is a busy one. While we were there they had a Hazmat call.
Kitchen- Classmates got a kick out of the rolling chairs, newspapers, and 4 refrigerators.

William chilling in the "TV" room

Averi and William checking out the "pole"
Apparently, two story fire houses are no longer built. So this pole is rare.

A call came in so the fire house was quickly emptied. The kids enjoying seeing the "action" of the sirens, men getting dressed, loading up and fire trucks taking off. Bummer that our tour ended so quickly. We were not able to check out the engines.

Peas Annabel is expanding her pallet. She is always excited for food.
