Bink and Novemeber is over!

WOW! November is over!
I blinked it was gone. Never a dull moment in this house. Below are some of the highlights of the month:

Annabel got her first haircut.
How cute is she? She was so excited to get her hair cut. She always watches Daddy give William a haircut and has patiently waited for her turn. We made a BIG deal out of it- she thinks it was worth the wait.
How could you not sit still when you get to sit in a pink Barbi car AND watch Dora on the TV right in front of you. :)All trimmed up AND a purple Dragonfly clip= One happy girl

Coleson
Coleson is growing like a weed. He now takes a bath in tub... a blow up tub.
sits in a high chair
and started eating solids
Does he like it??
Not so much.
He has warmed up to eating solids and thus far he LOVES sweet potatoes

The other day I could not find William when it was lunch time.
I looked all around and found him here.
He said "Mommy, it is such a beautiful day I was just enjoying the cool breeze. We don't get many days like this here."

THANKSGIVING

Big kids decorated the table while we pulled everything out and carved the turkey.

Picking out our tree
Saturday night we headed out to Marble Falls and enjoyed dinner out before we saw...
these amazing lights in Marble Falls.
It was a bit cold and windy which is not what we are use to. So we stopped at Starbucks for hot apple cider to keep us warm. We laughed that all we had were long sleeves, sweaters and scarfs. I thought we would be plenty warm. NOPE
How quickly we have adjusted to Texas weather.
huddle up
guess who is the cold one?
they were so sweet together-holding hands
May this season be a time filled with lots of joy, fun and remembering WHY we celebrate!

How our Saturday Mornings are spent...

William just completed 6 weeks of his FIRST experience with organized sports. We thought it would be great for him to try out a few sports before signing up for a whole season of just one. i9 Sports offers "clinics" for kids under 6. Each sport was 2 weeks long- soccer, flag football and basketball. When asked which was his favorite he said soccer. Ah- warms my heart since I loved soccer growing up. As much fun as he had, we are going to sit the winter season out and enjoy sleeping in and being leisure on our Saturday mornings.

We celebrated TEN years and treated ourselves to a night away- well with Coleson in tow. Our good friends watched William and Annabel for us. This was our first time ever leaving both kids with a non-family member. We all had a great time. The kids loved having a sleep over with their friends and Ryan and I enjoyed our 32 hours away.

In TEN years we have accomplished:
1. Ryan earned his Masters AND PHD
2. Traveled to: Tahiti, Hawaii, Germany, Spain, Australia, New York, Utah, and many more
3. 6 moves
4. 3 states
5. Bought and sold 3 homes
6. Got a dog
7. 3 kids in 5 years
8. Bridget retired from teaching
9. Lots of fun with friends and family
10. Learned how to say, "Ya'll"

Pumpkin Patch:

The kids could pick any pumpkin as long as they could carry it. But I did let them use the wagon to carry it to the car.

Quick trip to CA:
I flew to CA for a quick weekend for the Women of Faith Conference in Sac.
What a fun packed weekend it was. So special to share the conference with my mom, Jackie and Amber, have aunties, uncles and cousins finally meet Coleson, AND celebrate Caelyn's 3rd birthday- all in 3 days. Coleson and I came home tired but full of wonderful memories!

Love Creek Orchard
Annabel, Coleson and I met some friends at this pumpkin patch. So fun to explore and spend the day with friends on a warm fall day. (In Texas it is near impossible to grow pumpkins. This "patch" ships their pumpkins in from Oregon. You can find all kinds of pumpkins in piles. We are still getting use to that!
